These 9 days tribal discovery tour is going from hot to cool and flat land to mountainous region to see the national tribes from their traditions, belief and culture, ways of life to their arts and craft. This worth seeing sight of Nat Ma Taung (Mt. Victoria) National Park is awarded ASEAN Heritage Park status and outstanding universal value by UNESCO in1994. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Mount Victoria as a part of the Chin Hills range is the 3rd highest in Myanmar and It is 3,053m (10,016 ft) above sea level. Meeting the locals by wandering around the simple farmhouses and churches of this quiet rural backwoods is the best activity visitors can do in Kanpetlet. In Mindat and the surrounding area you will find members of the native Dai, Upu and Ya tribes. The older women of these ethnic group dotted full facial tattoos that differ in design according to their tribe.

Day 01: Yangon (Arrival)
Arrive at Yangon International airport and welcomed by our guide. Transfer and check-in to the hotel. After some refreshment at the hotel, start the city tour heading to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image. The next visit will be the Karaweik Royal Barge, a couple of Karaweik royal bird floating barge on a lake with a fantastic photo view. Then visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda: its golden stupa is the ‘heart’ of Myanmar. The pagoda is believed 2,600 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many Myanmar people pilgrims and making offering at Pagoda. After Shwedagon Pagoda, move to downtown with faded colonial atmosphere, walking tour around Yangon’s colonial style city center through china town, little India and overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon – Bangan
In very early morning, transfer to airport and flight to Bagan, spend whole day for exploring the architectural masterpieces of this astounding ancient town, living treasure house of Buddhist architectural splendors. From the airport to introduce the panoramic view of whole bagan on the eastern side then drive to local Nyaung U Market. Then visit Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupa and Kyansittha U Min, a tunnel with an interesting feature of paintings. Soemingyi Okkyaung, Nagoyone Temple, Apeyadana Temple and Wetkyiinn Gubyaukkyi Temple. Check in to hotel and have some refreshment. After lunch, proceed to Andanda Temple, the architecture masterpiece, Gawdawpalin Temple, Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carving, Khay Min Ga Okkyaung and Tharaba Gate. later followed by a carriage ride to visit the Reclining Buddha Shinpin Thalyaung, Dhamayangyi – the biggest massive structure with the finest brickwork which built by King Narathu in 12th century and visit to Thatbyinnyu Temple – the highest building on the Bagan plain, enjoy the sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda. Dinner with the show at a restaurant and overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.
Day 03: Kanpalat ( By Car) Route by Bagan-Chauk-Kazunma- Hsaw- Kanpelet
After breakfast, depart for Chauk along the river side for one hour. Cross Ayeyarwady River by bridge and you will reach to Chauk: a town rich with old and new oild field. After acrossing the Irrawaddy River, the half- desert land goes up to Hsaw town that settled at the foot of Chin Mountain range.The way to Kanpalet road is the dusty zig-zag and some parts of the road is steep but natural forests and valley is cool and pleasant. The town Kanpatlet is situated at 1390m high above sea level and surrounded by dense forest. In the evening, arrive at Kanpalat, one of the very beautiful and peaceful hill stations. Dinner and overnight at Chin Village Resort/Eco lodge.
Day 04: Kanpalat – Mt. Victoria – Aye Village
In the morning, proceed to 10 miles forest base camp by 4×4. And start to trek to summit of the Mt. Victoria 10200′ for 4 hours. Begin our hiking from the base camp, 6500 ft above sea level, to the top, 10200 ft. At the first 45 minutes of the 3-hour-trek, the quick step becomes difficult but it will be a trek up into the evergreen forest. Apply your photography at the top and have some refreshment of tea and snacks, later way down to our jeep within 2 hours. The trek down is much easier than the way up. On the way, see rare butterflies and birds also Sitta Victoria white breasted and brown nuthatches, is found only in mountain forest of Mt. Victoria, the highest peak in Chin Hills. In the evening, proceed to Aye Village by jeep. It is a small Chin Village on the hill side of the forest mountain in Natmataung National Park. Having Fascinating Beauty as a once British’s hill- camp with some old colonial constructions. Over the mountaineous region, the weather is quite cold and you will have a chance to take photos of tattoo-faced women and their clothing and the food and drinks to meet their customs are valuable for you to use your time to be there. Aye village will give each and all of us a comfortable and pleasing experience of village home stay life or drive back to Kanpalat and overnight.
Day 05: Aye Village-Kyardo Village-Mindut
Proceed to the forest combine with jeep rides up the mountain with trekking for 4 hours among the mountains. This is an energetic day approx. 7 miles as you trek down about 2500 ft crossing over a 100-ft suspension bridge and uphill about another 400 ft to Mindut.Mindut is locate on mountain ridge at elevation of 1600 m. On the way, visit Kyardo Village. They are one of the Chin nations but they have different custom and believe in traditions. One tradition can be viewed that the erected holy wooden poles and the stone tombs. Kyardo village is lied on the hill side of the valley between the greenery mountain ranges and it is an authentic Chin village accessible only by on foot.The houses are built in their traditional style so called huts made of wood and bamboo. It is one of the amazing villages and there are many tattooed faced women who are wearing traditional costumes and welcome the guest with their authentic chin traditional dance and music as well as serving with traditional wine called Kaung Yae is showing their hospitality. In the evening, drive back to Mindut. Dinner at restaurant and overnight relaxing stay at local guest house/resort.
Day 06: Mindut – Ponetaung Ponenyar – Bagan
After breakfast, drive through chunky road to Ponetaung and Ponenyar mountain range for 4 hours. This is very famous among archaeologist because of recent excavation findings with proof of early civilizations of mankind than those found in the Middle East. Discovered were fossils of animals such as turtle, crocodile, rhinoceros and pig in stone layers. Also recorded have been fossilized remains of leaves thought to be about 34 to 50 million years old. In the evening, arrive at Bagan. Dinner and over stay at hotel.
Day 07: Bagan-Thadwe
After the breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport and fly to Thandwe. Arrive to Thandwe airport and transfer to hotel then your Free and Breeze Relaxation time start at the white sand and blue sea beach. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 08: Ngapali
Breakfast at hotel, free and fun time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 :Thandwe – Yangon
After the breakfast, Check out to hotel and transfer to the Thandwe Airport to Yangon for Departure.
Day 10: Yangon Departure
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Bogyoke Aung San Market or free time until your check-out from hotel and transfer to airport for your departure to conclude but not the end. It’s just to share this unique experience to your loved ones.
The trip ends with full of stories to bring back home.
